This is the craziest thing. I typed a message and lost it. Anyway, my daughter missed a lot of school this year due to a few illnesses, and then my husband and I separated and I moved to another state. She has missed a lot of school, and then the school system we moved to is diferent. Although, they...

The website www.edhelper.com is a wonderful tool that I use. I have 5 children ages 16 down to a newborn. This website is 39.95 a year but gives you unlimited access to printouts, in every category that you want. Even high school. I use it along with standard secular curriculum. Sabrina

Hi Amy. I'd like to suggest taking a look at Sonlight Curriculum or Heart of Wisdom. I noticed you mentioning your budget and to buy these curriculums directly from the publishers are expensive but you never know what you might find through eBay, Amazon.com or any homeschool sites that sell used...

  • I'm new and don't know what I need to buy???

Hi everyone, My husband and I have decided to home school our 10 and 11 year old children, because we have moved back to FL from GA and our girls hate the schools here. We have been interested in home schooling for a few years, but w/ the little research that I had done, it seemed to be to expensive...

  • Re: This Algebra, Trig, Geometry stuf is over my head!

Dear Dave and Marie, Welcome to the adventure! I admire you. This will be an exciting time for you and your family. Algebra is an incremental subject. That means you can't jump around from topic to topic like you can in science or other subjects. It would be best to settle on a program and stick...

  • Curriculum questions

I've homeschooled my children in the past and realized they weren't getting everything they needed. They are in a public school at this time; but will be home on Feb. 1st to restart the homeschooling adventure. I am trying to find an inexpensive way to teach them without incurring one hundred...
