    I forgot to add that I agree. . .resist the urge to impulse buy because believe me it is tempting! Not necessarily because there are hard sales(pushy people) going on but alot of the material just looks so enticing, so promising, so "perfect" for your child. You can always preview the material...

    I agree with HSKyMom, the first year for me was quite overwhelming! Nonetheless, I've gone every year since. Recently my husband and I have turned it into a date! We have someone watch the children, get a hotel room and go down Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. We have a blast! You can't...

    I just returned from a big fair this past weekend. I have a 13yo and 8yo who have been hschooled from 1st grade. This was only my 3 one. In the past I went to one sponsored by the Christian home educators of my state. The mistake I made was that it was my 1st yr of schooling. Oh my! I was so overwhelmed...
