  • Can't log in as teacher

When I get to the page to log in as a teacher and put in my password I get kicked out of the whole system. I can't get through to the parent page, I have checked and rechecked my password and I know I'm putting in the correct one. Am I doing something wrong?

  • Re: Frustrated with needing more than 1 term

Hello, After hearing many complaints from users regarding the length of time it was taking to process their course creation during the set up process, we decided to force users to go to shorter terms. Shorter term lengths require less computer time because there's less information for the computer...

  • Is there anywhere to actually plan each lesson?

Is the PER area simply for scheduling or is there somewhere where I can actually plan my lessons? I home preschool...and we are not on a strict hourly schedule, therefore, I am finding the PER a bit restrictive. I was looking for something to help me formulate lessons, resources, etc.--not so much just...

  • PER Schedule Question

Can someone please tell me if there is a way to view your courses WITH the time slots I put in? I'm not sure if I am over scheduling some of my subjects without writing it all out on a piece of paper first. I'm confused. Thanks! MMS98012

  • Re: Why do you use PERS?

Hi Pamela, We're so glad you that you're trying out PER!!! It's got a lot in it--a lot of organizing ability plus a lot of flexibility--which is kind of amazing. I'm one of the editors--so I suppose I'm biased!! You might still prefer pencil and paper. . .and if so. . .please continue...

  • Why do you use PERS?

I found Home School Inc. last summer and thought it'd be a great tool to use during the school year since my oldest daughter was beginning high school. I haven't used it because I find it so much easier to use a lesson plan book and write her daily lessons out. For some reason doing it with pen...

  • Re: Editing Materials

Hi again De-Anna, We're so glad you are finding PER valuable!! Your suggestions are a great help!! Thank you!! We keep a prioritized list for PER 2.0 and will add these. Another idea for when you are creating a course--in that moment you only need to enter one item. If you aren't ready with the...

  • Re: Editing Materials

Hi again DeAnna. Another way to add the notes you'd like to add, without re-entering the titles, is to create a new book and title it Book Notes. Then in the "Additional Notes on this Item", use initials for the book: i.e., Jane Eyre, refer to it as JE, and then add your notes. Not perfect...

  • Re: Editing Materials

Thank you for your suggestion DeAnna! We will put it on our list of additional features to include in PER 2.0. (Right now we're in PER 1.0) You are correct. Right now while you can always add or delete materials in a Course (in Courses at a Glance) you can't edit existing materials. Suggestion...

  • Editing Materials

Hi - Is there a way to edit the materials that have already been added? I added a bunch of books by their titles, but now I would like to go back in and add the authors and a few other notes. So far, it seems the only way to do that is by deleting the book entry and adding it again in its final...
