Hi! My name is Jennifer Cates. I am a wife of an Army chaplain and a mom to two precious boys. Our oldest boy, Ethan is 7 years old and has mild-moderate cerebral palsy. We are praying about homeschooling in the fall. Ethan will be in first grade. He is in a public school right now in a mainstream classroom and keeping up with the help of a one-on-one. The school is not working well with us with Ethan leaving early on some days for various therapies. Also, with moving every two years, it would be so much easier to homeschool.
Anyone have any suggestions about curriculum? I would love to hear from anyone with like stories and experiences with working with children with cerebral palsy. Thank you!
