Has anyone used the Evan Moor series Scienceworks for Kids?  It looks really interesting, esp. for younger grade science.

 Hi, I haven't used Evan-Moor science, but I just go two geography books by them. They're really good and reproducible (legally too!!). They aren't really fancy, but they are great for supplements to a core curriculum. Some cutting and pasting with labels and such and of course coloring. Hope this helps!

 For my son I used the EM Read and Understand Science Grade 1 last year and loved it. This year we are using their grade 2 spelling along with grammar and punctuation. I find them right on for the grade level and am pleased with the amount of work and explanations. They flow well from one lesson to another.
