While I don't have much of an answer to your question I am REALLY excited about it! We are from Michigan, but planning to move to the Raleigh area this fall! I just signed up for this site because although our children are in a private christian school this year, (so my husband and I can go to school for Myomassology) we are HOPING to go back to home schooling next year. This morning I popped in here planning to post a question. "Are there any home schoolers from N.C. Raleigh area? " So I'll be looking forward to any replies you get as well.
My husband and I did visit one home school group while we were down there a few weeks ago... It's through Victory Fellowship Church... Not sure if that is something you'd be interested in. Depends on what you are looking for... That was only one visit, so I can't really tell you MUCH about it. It was very friendly... small.... Bible believing Christian... I asked LOTS of questions and had LOTS of comments (not always agreeing with everyone) and they were very open to hear what I had to say..
