so this week we have taken him out to do home schooling

I am new too! I will be starting next year and am planning now. I have been doing a lot of research and asking veteran homeschoolers their opinions. I am using Sonlight Curriculum because they give you a schedule of what you are to teach everyday. Go to their website sonlight.com and then call them on Monday to help you choose things for your son.

I think you should check the site anyway - they may ship overseas. You could also google "homeschool curriculum uk" to see if there are distributors in the UK. Perhaps Alpha Omega might be something you'd consider. You can certainly browse our Store to get an idea of the kinds of curriculum available.
