    Pen Pals.

Does anyone know of any pen pal (either written or using e-mail) programs that homeschoolers can get involved in?

I have a 10 year old boy who is very funny, loves life and football. he is in the 4th grade this year. I have another son who is 8 and was diagnosed with adhd and sensory integration disorder, he is in the 3rd grade this year. anybody interested can email me. Tammie

    Hello Tammi,

I am new to this site as well as to home schooling. I have an 8 yr old in 3rd grade with adhd.  Would love to chat and maybe the little ones can communicate. Let me know.

You can go to the Yahoo groups and join the homeschooling pen pal group. You can look for penpals and also post what you are looking for. My daughter found her penpal there, but would be glad to have a new one if someone is around her age (11). She loves animals, dancing, webkinz, and crafts.

    Re: Pen Pals.

My daughter did have a boy pen pal in the past, but they found out they had little in common to write about. She would be glad to write if you can't find a closer match. There are many moms who are looking for matches for their young boys at the "Yahoo Groups "site. Just go there, register, and type in "homeschooling pen pals" to join. You will have lots of boys your nephew's age to pick from. Good luck!

My daughter is 11. She loves emailing people, and is of the belief that one can never have too many friends.  If your daughter would be interested, let me know.  My daughter loves reading, computer games, music, and friends.  We live overseas, and she gets lonely sometimes.
