I am new to the homeschooling.
I have a question on exactly what is required for testing. Is it just the end of the year testing? How do you know what test and where to have it administered? We are in New York.
In New York its up to the parents to select wich test you'd like to have your children take. The testing can be done anytime durring the year so long as they are submited by June 30th. Many school districts for parents convience offer testing days that you have to call the school to sign up for. They will take the New York state test on that day. Usually the Math is done halfway through the year and the language arts test taken towards the end. That would be the easier rout. Or instead you can select annother test and arrange for it to be given. The school district you are registered through for homeschooling should have a contact person for questions and information on testing.
