Looking for Grammar (secular) curriculum for 8th grade

Anyone have any sugestions on a secular grammar curriculum for the 8th grade?

I am looking for something that has alot of sentence structure as well as Vocab, spelling reading, comprhension and with a teacher's manual,  maybe an "all in one" package.

    Thanks for any help!

Does your child already have a good grasp of parts of speech and simple sentence structure?

I am sorry for the delayed response; my computer has been acting up.  You may want to look into the Warriner's English Grammar and Composition series. These books are excellent guides for the mechanics of the language and offer practice and clear examples as well.  The older complete courses have sections on latin and greek roots, on how to approach debating, and on language and logic.  I recommend looking for earlier versions from the late 50's and early 60's online and at the library.

I hope this helps. Good luck with your search.
