Homeschool Community

I want to know if there is anyone out there homescholling in or near Independence, Missouri.  I would to get to know people in my local area going through the same things.  I am still new to the whole homeschooling idea, me and my four boys have been going at it for about a month now and going okay so far I guess. I really would love to meet other people in my local area.  Anybody out there????

Sorry we're in AR - Have you searched yahoo groups for a local group?  Also ask your children's librarian - they generally know who is homeschooling and can be a great resource.  Good luck finding some local support, it is well worth the effort.

I am in Collins,Mo and I am looking for familes to have get-to-gathers during nice weather, I have 2 boys 7yrs and 2 yrs. We been homeschooling for a little over a month and it is going ok. The 7 yr. old is ADHD/OCD/ODD and early onset of Bipolar disorder. Anyone in the area please respond. If your wondering Collins is 52 miles north of Springfield,Mo.
